The axolotl is an endangered Mexican “walking fish”. It is endangered because of an invasive species (the Asian carp) taking over its habitat. Should we get one as a pet for the science room? Tags: animals, axolotl, ecosystems, endangered species, science roomRabbits, Foxes and Plants Game is actually a really surprising game because when you put how much the amount is, and when you put all of it even, it will go like a roller coaster! Stephanie noticed that when there are more plants, the rabbits get bigger. Then the plants get smaller, and the rabbits get smaller too. And when you put too much of the plants, you could even it out with the rabbits and they would go up and down at the same time.

Journey to Deep Sea VentsPosted by: Lisa in Earth, Ecosystems, Multimedia, animals, scienceThe ocean ecosystem is different from the others we’re studying. For one thing, it doesn’t make as much sense to talk about “seasons”. It’s better to look at how deep the water is. This game shows you the different layers of the ocean and lets you explore a special place on the ocean floor: This is a game about food chains. There are boxes for the different creatures – plants and animals in the world. You have to put the animals in order to make the top predator in the last box. You put it in the box and if it goes right back to where it came from, then it’s wrong. by Room 219 Click on the picture to play the game: |
