A fossilized snake skeleton was discovered in Colombia. It was big enough to eat a cow! Don’t worry, it’s extinct now.

Recently scientists found a fossil of an ancient turtle in China. They are using it to try to figure out how the first turtles grew shells. This is a picture of what the first turtles with shells might have looked like.

These turtles have the beginnings of the first shells.
